After aging our 2009 vintage Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc in their very own French oak barrels for a couple of years, we finally introduced them all to each other to see how well they played together. The result is…well…award winning! That’s right, our first vintage was carefully blended and lovingly bottled and sent off to New York to be swirled, sipped, tasted and judged and it came back with stories to tell and a Silver Medal around its neck! We couldn’t be prouder. We can’t share the stories with you (we like to think of ourselves as a family winery here), but we can share this wonderful Bordeaux style red blend with you and yours. Pick up a bottle or two today and see what all the excitement is about.

Our 2009 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was the stand out varietal of the three wines we put together to make our blend (but don’t tell the others, we love them all equally). This Cab lounged around in French Oak just long enough to grab up all the good tannins and not so long that it seemed like it got hit over the head with an oak stick. Soft and supple, with just enough grip to keep your attention. We think it pairs well with most things, especially food, but we don’t like to limit experiences here. If you would like to pair it with a lazy Sunday afternoon or a beautiful sunset somewhere with a special someone, who are we to discourage you? Pair away!

Please welcome our 2011 Riesling to the Ceili Winery family! After basking in the abundant Columbia Valley sunshine and building up loads of juicy melon, ripe pear, and crisp, tart apple flavors, these plump little grapes were gently squeezed and fermented slowly to give all those great flavors a chance to meld together in to this golden colored floral beauty. It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a bottle or three ready in your fridge to add a bit of sunshine to your day any time of year.

Purchasing and Shipping Information

And the Winemaker spake saying:

"Due to the cost prohibitive nature of shipping and handling, thou shalt place an order of a minimum of three bottles, no less. Three shall be the minimum number of bottles thou shalt order and the minimum number of the order shall be three. Two shalt thou not order, excepting that thou then proceed to three (or six or twelve or...). One is right out! Once the number three, being the third bottle (or more), be reached, then placest thou thy order that we may then ship it …"

(In other words: Due to the cost prohibitive nature of shipping and handling fees, and the fact that it would cost the same to ship one or two bottles of wine as it would to ship three, we are currently limiting shipped orders to three bottles. If you absolutely, positively have to have just one or two bottles, please contact us and we will make it happen!)

We can currently ship to the following States: California, Colorado, Oregon, Ohio and Washington. If your state is not listed, check back with us or send us a desperate e-mail telling us how badly you want your state added to the shipping list and we will try to make it so.

All orders are shipped by UPS ground. To insure the quality of your wine shipment, your package will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday to avoid your precious cargo sitting on a loading dock in Albuquerque (no offense to our New Mexico fans). If you absolutely have to have your wine sooner (and we don’t blame you if you do) please call us to make other arrangements.
